Dr. Tim Hudson resigned Tuesday, effective immediately, as chancellor of Arkansas State University after four years of service on the Jonesboro campus. Dr. Charles Welch, president of the ASU System, said he accepted Hudson’s resignation Tuesday evening. Welch named Dr. Lynita Cooksey, Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Research at A-State, as the acting chancellor.
