ASUMH Dedicates Dr. Robert L. Myers Technical Education Campus, Czeschin–Newth Workforce Development Center

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held today at the technical education campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH) to honor Dr. Robert L. Myers, Chancellor Emeritus of ASUMH and interim president of the ASU System, along with the Czeschin and Newth families for their support of the workforce and technical education facility at the college.

State Awards $2.6 Million Grant to A-State, ASU-Beebe to Boost Nursing Education

The College of Nursing and Health Professions at Arkansas State University is the recipient of a $2,598,396 grant from the state Department of Commerce and the Arkansas Linking Industry to Growing Nurses (ALIGN) program to help attract, prepare and keep more nurses in the state. A portion of the total grant announced by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders is a sub-award to Arkansas State University-Beebe.

ASU-Newport Reports Significant Enrollment, Credit Hours Growth for Spring 2024 Semester

Arkansas State University-Newport today announced increased enrollment and Student Semester Credit Hours (SSCH) for the spring 2024 semester. The preliminary data for spring 2024 indicates an enrollment of 1,882 students, an 8 percent increase from fall 2023 and a 9 percent increase from the spring 2023. ASUN has also experienced an 11 percent increase in SSCH, totaling 16,840 hours for the current semester.
