Qualifications & Competencies

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • IT leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior or executive role. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise IT systems, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and staff in a complex organization. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 
  • Higher education IT leadership experience, particularly in a multi-institution system. 
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Ellucian Banner), cloud services, identity management, and enterprise analytics platforms. 
  • Familiarity with state procurement, compliance regulations, and data privacy laws.
