New employees have 31 days from their hire date to enroll in the ASU benefit plans. Enrollment is easy. As a new employee you will receive an email from your Human Resources office with your user ID and password to enroll on-line via the mybenefits enrollment portal. It is important you enroll as soon as possible, but no later than 31 days from your hire date. If you want to cover your dependents on the ASU medical plan you will need to provide your marriage license or last year's tax return to cover your spouse, and birth certificate, adoption decree or legal guardianship papers to cover your children.If you do not enroll within 31 days you will automatically be enrolled in employee only classic medical plan, basic life insurance, long term disability insurance and the TIAA retirement plan.
