ASU-Newport Reports Significant Enrollment, Credit Hours Growth for Spring 2024 Semester

NEWPORT, Ark. –– Arkansas State University-Newport today announced increased enrollment and Student Semester Credit Hours (SSCH) for the spring 2024 semester.
The preliminary data for spring 2024 indicates an enrollment of 1,882 students, an 8 percent increase from fall 2023 and a 9 percent increase from the spring 2023. ASUN has also experienced an 11 percent increase in SSCH, totaling 16,840 hours for the current semester.
The growth underscores the effectiveness of ASUN's strategies in attracting and retaining students, enhancing the educational experience and providing programs that align with the demands of the modern workforce.
