The Board of Trustees of the Arkansas State University System seeks a dynamic, innovative, and inspirational leader to advance higher education in the state of Arkansas and to advocate for the ASU System and its institutions.
Building on the successful 13-year tenure of Dr. Chuck Welch, who was recently appointed President of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU), the new president will have the opportunity to work with a cohesive Board, an experienced and committed System leadership team, and a group of talented campus chancellors to contribute to the educational, cultural, and economic advancement of the students and citizens of Arkansas.
The new president is expected to start in summer 2024.
The ASU System Factbook is produced annually and is intended to provide answers to questions that are frequently asked by the administration, faculty, staff, students, alumni and other university constituents.
