Arkansas State University-Beebe (ASUB) is a public two-year community college with the third-largest enrollment among two-year institutions in Arkansas.

Founded in 1927 as the Junior Agricultural School of Central Arkansas, ASUB has evolved to offer many academic and technical programs with campuses in Beebe, Searcy, Heber Springs, and at the Little Rock Air Force Base, plus online instruction.

ASUB offers more than 100 academic pathways, including associate degrees, one-year technical certificates, certificates of proficiency, and non-credit training.  It’s also home to a degree center for Arkansas State University.

Notable programs include John Deere Agricultural Equipment Technology and the state’s only veterinary technology and pharmacy technician degrees.

ASUB was the first Arkansas community college to offer residence halls, located on the Beebe campus.

60th Anniversary of Service at LRAFB

ASU System Trustees Steve Eddington and Price Gardner joined the ASU-Beebe team on Sept. 18, 2025, to celebrate 60 years of educational partnership with the Little Rock Air Force Base and the City of Jacksonville at the University Center.
