Arkansas State University is celebrating a record-breaking student body this fall with 11th-day enrollment surging to 17,926. Fueled by the largest freshman class ever and record credit hours, A-State’s growth marks another milestone in its rising trajectory as the destination for students across Arkansas and beyond. The fall class includes 2,222 first-year students, a 12% increase compared to last year. Among them are 1,764 Arkansans, who make up 79% of the total class and represent a 30% increase from the previous year.

Henderson Reports 9% Overall Enrollment Increase for Fall 2025; First-time Freshmen Up 46% with Largest Class in Six Years
Overall enrollment at Henderson State University increased 9% for Fall 2025, with preliminary 11th-day numbers showing 2,258 students enrolled in Fall 2025 compared to 2,061 students in Fall 2024. Enrollment for first-time freshmen and transfer students also has increased significantly. Henderson reports a substantial 46% increase in first-time freshmen — 572 in Fall 2025 compared to 391 in Fall 2024. This represents the largest freshman class since 2019.
