BEEBE, Ark. -- The Advanced Technology & Allied Health Division at Arkansas State University-Beebe will host a Hands-On Preview Day on Saturday, July 30, at 1 p.m. in the Advanced Technology & Allied Health Building.
The Hands-On Preview event will provide hands-on experience and information about several technical and health care programs offered at ASU-Beebe.
Through individual hands-on activities, students can explore the realities of the career path of their choice. “Many students are unsure about their career path and hands-on activities can provide a potential student with insight into areas of interest,” said Michael Troop, director of the Advanced Technology & Allied Health.
The event also offers an opportunity for attendees to consider the specific areas of Computer Aided Drafting & Design, Computer Systems & Networking Technology, EMT/Paramedics, John Deere Agriculture Equipment Technology, Practical Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Pharmacy Technician Science.
The Hands-On Preview Day is open to both traditional and non-traditional students. Students are welcome to bring guests, such as a parent or spouse. There will be refreshments available to those in attendance.
Anyone interested in attending the event are encouraged to register by calling Addie Banks at (501) 882-8822, or click here.
